I spoke w/Dave Gohsman of Coastal Properties (January 8th). Mr. Gohsman is the start-up site manager of the Windmill Point Marina. He stated that the docks and piers - about 50 slips - will be available in May (that is their hope at the moment). BUT, as he pointed out, it is and will remain a construction site for the next three years. He stated that there will be electricity and water (that's it). No pool or clubhouse. Those will open in 2009. There is a beach that slip holders will have access to that has been replenished with new sand.
Mr. Gohsman said all are welcome but really recommends waiting till 2009 to visit as everything will be finished with the marina...and the pool and clubhouse will be open.
